Natalie Harper didn’t allow a single run against Walton, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Etowah Eagles to a 8-0 victory on Thursday

Etowah Eagles secured the victory thanks to five runs in the third inning. Kinsey Norton, Hailey Schultz, and Kendall Parks each had RBIs in the big inning.

Etowah Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning.

Etowah Eagles put up five runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Etowah Eagles was led by Norton, Schultz, and Parks, all knocking in runs in the inning.

One bright spot for Walton was a double by Ava Gurule in the first inning.

Harper toed the rubber for Etowah Eagles. She lasted five innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Claire Bousquet was in the circle for Walton. She allowed six hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out three. Casey Ehlen threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Etowah Eagles tallied seven hits. Parks and Abby Billings each racked up multiple hits for Etowah Eagles. Billings and Parks each managed two hits to lead Etowah Eagles. Etowah Eagles didn’t commit a single error in the field. Paige Patterson had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Gurule led Walton with two hits in three at bats.
