Etowah scored six runs in the first on its way to a 9-1 victory over Sequoyah on Wednesday.

Etowah batters contributing to the big inning included Hannah Cintron, Cadence Erickson, Haylie Franz, and Jayden Nichols, all driving in runs in the frame.

Etowah got on the board in the first inning when Cintron singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Jordan Morris took the win for Etowah. She allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out seven.

K Edwards took the loss for Sequoyah. She went four innings, allowing nine runs on six hits.
Cintron, Petra DeWeese, Ansley Speegle, Lily Hovanec, Morris, and Nichols each collected one hit to lead Etowah Eagles JV. Etowah Eagles JV didn’t commit a single error in the field.

Franz had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
