Etowah Eagles Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 5-1 victory over Walton on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Etowah Eagles Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Kinsey Norton singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Etowah Eagles Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning, when an error scored one run for Etowah Eagles Varsity. In the top of the fourth inning, Walton tied things up at one when Ashley McDonald hit a solo homer. Natalie Harper toed the rubber for Etowah Eagles Varsity. She surrendered one run on ten hits over seven innings, striking out three and walking zero. Claire Bousquet was on the rubber for Walton.
