Ameer has been an outstanding athlete on Etowah’s Track team for four years.  Ameer has dominated our county in 110 and 300 hurdles.  He has made it to state in several events, 4×400 relay, 300 hurdles, 400-meter run.  Ameer has shown great leadership for our track team.  He has made a great effort to work hard every day and push all the kids around him to get better.   At Cherokee varsity county this year, Ameer was the male athlete of the meet.  He was first in the 110 and the 300 hurdles and finished 2nd in the high jump with a personal record of 6 feet 2 inches.  With his great efforts our boy’s track team finished 2nd, only 4 points away from winning the track meet.
